Kelly Nash was born in Davie, Florida, a suburb of Fort Lauderdale. Kelly Nash was raised boating and fishing along with her father Ed Nash. Kaitlyn Nash, and Carolyn Nash are her two sisters. Kelly Nash is from the English, Irish and Swedish ethnic groups. Her grandfather was born in Portugal and later immigrated to the United States.



 Kelly Nash loved the Miami Marlins from an early age. While she was a huge sports fan at an early age, she always dreamed of becoming an anchor for a newscast. Kelly Nash, a 2006 graduate of Clemson University in Clemson (South Carolina) and an undergraduate degree in Communication and Media Studies. She then graduated from Clemson with Master's degree in Youth Development Leadership in 2009. She had received a full athletic scholarship from the Clemson Athletic Department as a condition of covering their Baseball and soccer teams in the Sports information Department Career



 Kelly Nash is MLB Network studio host featuring in multiple shows on the network like the evening highlights program, Quick Pitch. She is also an NHL Network Studio host, appearing on the Nightly Game recap Show, On The Fly. In March 2015 she joined the MLB Network. She also began contributing to the NHL Network in 2015. The NHL Network's daily operations were based at the MLB Network headquarters.
